Cape Churchill

Cape 1 and Cape 2 follow the same itinerary except that Cape 1 has one additional night at the Tundra Buggy Lodge

Day 1
Arrive Winnipeg. Accommodations at airport hotel. Group dinner with guide. Overnight Winnipeg.

Day 2-8 (includes Day 9 for Cape 1)
Early morning flight to Churchill. Short town orientation before being transfered to the Tundra Buggy Launch.  Enjoy a leisurely trek to the Tundra Buggy Lodge watching for wildlife along the way. Settle into your new 'home away from home.'

Overnight Tundra Buggy Lodge 7 nights (8 nights on Cape 1) Enjoy daily excursions to view and photograph wildlife. Enjoy good home cooked meals, evening presentations, and lots of socializing. Watch the night sky for Northern Lights.

Day 9 (Day 10 on Cape 1)
After breakfast, begin the journey back to the Tundra Buggy Launch. Transfer to Churchill. Check into local hotel. Dinner. Overnight Churchill.

Day 10 (Day 11 on Cape 1)
Morning departure to Winnipeg. Check into airport hotel. Overnight Winnipeg

Day 11 (Day 12 on Cape 1)
Depart Winnipeg at leisure.

Churchill and Area Tour
A guided bus tour of local and historical points of interest surrounding Churchill, including such attractions as Cape Merry, Port of Churchill and Manitoba Conservation's Polar Bear Holding Facility (weather permitting).
